Recently, we were facilitating a board and staff retreat and one of the board members said, “Right now we are helping people, but I am not sure we are changing things.”

Last week we conducted a strategic planning board retreat for a United Way in Illinois. Over the course of the board retreat, one thing became very clear – it was time for change.

Happy New Year! It is clearly a new year, and while there is some debate if 2020 is the start of a new decade, I’ll wish you a Happy New Decade just to be safe. What is not in dispute is . . .
