For School Districts
Community Priorities and Satisfaction Study
Connecting With Your Community
Your district shares all sorts of information using a variety of methods such as your website, social media, mailed newsletters, and community meetings. But how often do you hear back from your residents? Sure, anyone can address your board, but the vast majority of your residents are not taking time out of their busy schedules to share their concerns with your board.
Perspectives’ Community Priorities and Satisfaction Study will allow your board and staff to identify concerns, correct misperceptions, and develop plans that reflect your residents’ concerns and priorities. We will help your district close the loop with your residents.
Uncover the Truth
Our Community Priorities and Satisfaction Study uses an anonymous survey to get your parents, as well as residents who do not have children attending your district, to tell you how they really feel. Since residents’ comments cannot be traced back to them, they will share their beliefs and feelings honestly and candidly.
Both Good and Bad
We ask everyone to share all of their concerns, not just those related to the issues you want feedback on. Allowing residents to voice all of their concerns is critical, as our years of research have shown that residents’ dissatisfaction with things such as district communication or fiscal responsibility can result in residents having a negative view of all issues facing the district.
Listen and Respond
Often residents will say the only time they hear from their school district is when the district wants to raise taxes. Our research identifies your residents’ concerns, providing your board an opportunity to respond to those concerns, and demonstrates your district’s responsiveness and transparency.
